they are a bit on the narrow side. I ordered a half size up knowing this...and that helps. My foot is about a D/E width. Any wider of a foot than that and you will be unhappy.

The very best value in a durable, comfortable boat shoe. I wear them every day, all the time during cooler months, some of the time (when not wearing my wonderful Teva Katavi flips). This is my second pair, the first still not worn out after 9 years, but starting to look a bit shabby after a lot of wearings. Easy to slip on and off without having to sit or bend over, even with socks, but nice to wear without socks also in cooler weather. Pretty amazing shoes, great fit.

I have lyme disease which results in my feet often being painful, so finding a pair of shoes that is comfortable is essential to me....and rarely found. These shoes definitely meet the requirements!!! They're lightweight and comfy, easily worn all day. I normally wear an 11, but sometimes a 10 1/2. I ordered a 10 1/2 and they fit perfect.
Maybe I'm slow or missing something, but these shoes are slipons. I view the laces as decorative.

I am a huge Chuck fan - BUT I have flat feet, and can wear them comfortably. My husband and daughter cannot. I feel like most people that wear Chucks do so because they want to make a "fashion statement" at the cost of their feet... I just need them for my flat feet - and thus every 10-12 months I order a pair of Black Chuck Taylors, works for me!
